C-Zen K9 provides boutique, personalized services tailored to meet each dog’s unique needs. There is a strong focus on quality and preparation for each client, which is why booking and cancellation policies help support and maintain adequate availability for clients.
Dog Behavior and the Dog Behavior and Profile Info Form
Prior to confirming any booking, and accepting a deposit for that booking, a completed Dog Behavior and Profile Info Form must be completed and submitted for review. Acceptance of these terms must also be submitted (below)
A meet and greet is required before booking services for the first time, where direct interaction with the dog will occur.
Aggressive dog behaviors are not in the wheelhouse of C-Zen K9. While C-Zen K9 is able to refer alternative services, the current business model does not currently support aggressive dogs. Note that guarding and aggression are not the same. The Dog Profile Form has a section to attest to non-aggression.
Dog owners will be responsible for excessive damage incurred by the dog during services. By accepting services the dog owner agrees to reimburse property damage in excess of $100.
The expectation is that behaviors disclosed in the Dog Profile Form are truthful and accurate, and by booking any service a contract of truthfulness is assumed. C-Zen K9 reserves the right to contact clients to make alternative arrangements, in collaboration with the client when possible, during boarding or daycare if a dog becomes aggressive or unreasonably destructive.
Booking Policies and Expectations
A meet and greet is required before booking services where direct interaction with the dog will occur. Virtual meet and greets are possible in some cases.
Advance Notice for C-Zen K9 Care Direct Services: To allow for quality preparation for each pet, a minimum of 1-2 weeks’ advance booking is preferred. This ensures the custom care that you and your dog deserve. However, I am happy to accommodate last-minute bookings as availability allows.
Deposit Requirement: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure all appointments. This deposit confirms your commitment to the scheduled service and enables me to plan effectively for your pet’s needs.
Cancellation and Schedule Change Policy
To ensure fairness and consistency for all clients, C-Zen K9 Care has established the following cancellation policies for services not booked via Rover:
Cancellations 7 Days or More Before Service Start Date: Eligible for a refund of the deposit, minus a $20 administration fee. Any additional payments will be waived.
Cancellations 72 Hours to 7 Days Prior to Service Start Date: Eligible for a 30% refund of the deposit, minus a $20 administration fee.
Cancellations Within 72 Hours of Service Start Date: 50% refund. A $20 administration fee will apply.
Frequent Cancellations: Clients who cancel more than 3 times within a calendar year may not be considered for priority bookings in the future.
No-shows: A no-show without prior communication will be charged as a regular appointment and the client agrees to make the payment.
Late Arrival: Late arrivals are accepted, though the scheduled time will still be charged. Please note that service may be impacted, and the time provided may be condensed to fit the remaining schedule.
Rescheduling Appointments: While I strive to be flexible to accommodate changes in plans, rescheduling within 72 hours of the appointment may incur a $20 administrative fee. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability.
